There are some 20,000 species of bees, of which around 850 are present in France.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>75% of global food production depends on pollinating insects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Between 60 and 90% of wild plants need pollinating insects to reproduce.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>265 billion dollars: this is the estimated value of the service provided by pollination in the world.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For several years, a phenomenon of weakening and mortality of bee colonies has been observed throughout the world:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Honey bee populations fell by 25% in Europe between 1985 and 2005.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In recent winters, the mortality of these populations was 20% on average in Europe, or even 53% in certain countries.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We have a major role to play in reducing our impacts on biodiversity, but also in restoring and enhancing ecosystems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of our 2023\/2025 CSR Strategy, we have chosen to partner with the company Btobees, created by two young passionate beekeepers, Thibault and Cl\u00e9ment, from Witternesse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The challenges of this partnership for Matissart are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Maintain ecological capital within an industrial zone;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Mobilize employees on a unifying project;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Produce honey on behalf of the company for employees;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Promote the company\u2019s eco-responsible image.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Do not hesitate to visit our page dedicated to our commitments : <a href=\"https:\/\/matissart.com\/en\/a-one-of-a-kind-company\/sustainable-commitments\/\">https:\/\/matissart.com\/en\/a-one-of-a-kind-company\/sustainable-commitments\/<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Tuesday April 30, 2024, two bee colonies came to strengthen our teams!!
